This is what my pattern Norrlands berg looked like in the beginning. Swedish nature has always fascinated me and somehow I wanted to make my own interpretation on how I experience Swedish forests. I wanted to capture colors, shapes and feeling of the forest I used to play in as a child during summer holidays. Will post more pictures soon of how the pattern turned out like in the end! /Tina

Lieu du design
A new year is here and I am just about to go to Paris to take part in the exhibition Meetmyproject between the 19–23 rd of January during Maison D’objet. The Swedish Insitute in Paris and Svenskt Tenn supports six Swedish designers this year. I will exhibit two pattern designs on textiles called Smaland and Norrlands berg.
Here are some pictures I´ve found on the internet from previous years exhibitions. My only concern is how to get the piece I am exhibiting on the plane and that I don´t speak a word of French…well that´s a lie since I know the word Bonjour… :S /T

Happy New Year!!
Our favorite beach in Portugal, earlier this year.
This year has been a very busy year but very exciting and fun since I´ve had the pleasure to work with so many great people. New Years eve we´ll spend in Dalarna with friends and kids, hoping for a white weekend with lots of snow so I get a chance to try my new tobbogan :) Happy New Year!! New illustrations
I should really take some time off since it´s x-mas time and all but I can´t stop working which I guess is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time… :S Here are a few drawings from my sketch book, new ideas and illustrations on their way. This is just the best part of my job, where anything can happen even though sometimes they don´t, which in that case makes the process very time consuming…It´s just a few days before a great friend from Germany is coming over to visit for a few days, haven´t seen her for over nearly two years now so I can´t wait to see her!! Merry Christmas
Before you shut down your computer for Christmas holidays I just wanted to send a thank you to everyone that contributed to make this past year so great. I´ve had the pleasure to work with exciting, challenging and fun commissions and with clients that also have become my friends. Wish you all a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year! Ps.
